We had some friends over for Clue night (board game + movie) last night… hung over but worth it!
Struggle to struggle, I do think I’m understanding myself better and understanding the world in relation to myself better as well. One of the couples who came over last night are moving across the country, one intending to return and the other likely not. I’m so excited to see a new pal return, but I have just as much hope for the friend who’s considering staying lost. No rest for the rootless.
There was a pregnant deer in our backyard this morning… it’s been raining a lot, and it seemed like the lady sought a little refuge under a walnut tree back there. Teencat came to hang out near (not with) the deer; too sweet! Teencat’s happy. I do think we’re gonna get him chipped when we have the cash for it.
So, what am I up to? Checking in here…

- Some makeup tutorials… it’s been a while!
- Preparing Whole30-type recipes
- Update my site (current media page, landing page, bsky integration)
