This is my last week of not working..! Let me be real, it’s been tough; structuring my own time, for myself, without external limitations or deadlines. There’s simply too much to do.
We’re getting the house all in order today; the car is in the shop. Planning a plum thrift visit tomorrow at a spot that’s setting up their f/w offerings. Mushrooms are colonized and ready to fruit.
I’ve decided to focus in on the bass this season; learning clawhammer banjo was a blast, and I’m sure I’ll be back in spring. Messing with electric guitar is higher on my list now than it has been in years past, inspired by Sondre Lerche’s “Solo Pleasure”.
Dammit I had a list around here… hm. Did I post it already? idk. anyways, what’s up this season for me:
- turning out a noise set, as both packaged recording and live set
- photograph -> line drawing -> plotting project
- reading a book with a friend
- painting the house
- assemble reference material and a little workshop for friends on media piracy
- bass practice
- tag practice
- regular exercise
- writing some poetry
Will I add anything else?
Will I try to create a separate changelog-view “ongoing projects” document?
