Earworm: Crimson and Clover – A.G. Cook
Now Playing: Gang of Four’s Peel Sessions
Tomorrow’s my first day at the new job, first day back working after breaking up with tech.
I’m equal parts excited, for the whole day, and dreading waking up at like 6:30 to be there at 8 “-_-
So, today is for all of the little tasks I’d wanted to get done in the past year and a half… which includes… hmm.
- Some meal prep (?) for tomorrow (idk what i’d do at this point…)
- Mailing a package
- Some particular reading
- Some personal performance
- Particular profile creation
- Close out my lynkedin profile for the time being
- Finally, I wanted this site to be see-worthy
So, I’ll get to those things today then!
I had a lovely chat with a friend I hadn’t spoken with in a long time, who I’d been meaning to connect back with after our move. It’s really phenomenal how different friendships can be, like… sometimes I’ve thought, about this friend: “did we really have that much in common?” – but the link absolutely goes beyond surface level interests, down to like… I think our emotional guts are pretty similar. Anyways it’s so nice to connect with friends. They brought to my attention a “personal archiving” genre of online course. Highly interesting to me!
